Having lived in Denver for over 10 years, I’ve been luck enough to eat at every notable restaurant in town. We’ve weeded out the great from the decent, so you don’t have to. Here are the restaurants to try on your next trip to the Mile High City.

Safta-Amazing Israeli/Middle-Eastern food in a chic setting.

Uchi-An Austin import with some of the best sushi in Denver.

Work and Class- Delicious casual fare. They don’t take reservations. Order the Massive Attack Salad.

Frasca Food and Wine-Technically in Boulder, but they literally wrote the book on hospitality. Worth the trip.

Tavernetta-Elevated comfort Italian food in a buzzy location near Union Station.

Beckon-Fine dining at this counter-space only consists of a multi-course tasting menu that will blow your mind. Great for special occasions. Received one of Denver’s first Michelin stars.

Wolf’s Tailor-Another Michelin-star recipient, this restaurant takes a creative approach to farm-to-table.

Mister Oso-Delicious and fresh Latin food in a funky/cool setting in RiNo.
