Beau-Rivage Palace sits on the shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne with views across the water to the snow-capped Alps—and Coco Chanel once called it home. This is our honest review of one of Switzerland’s most storied hotels, including what the rooms are actually like, whether the Michelin-starred restaurant lives up to the price, and whether it’s worth it for families.
We spent three nights at Chileno Bay Resort with our two kids over Spring Break. The food was exceptional, the beach is one of the best in Cabo, and the design is gorgeous, but the entry-level rooms are the real problem at this price point. Here’s our honest verdict on whether Chileno Bay is worth it for families.
Food
Arguably the best part of traveling.
Paros offers a mix of traditional Greek and modern food. Taverna Glafkos in Naoussa serves fresh seafood and classic starters by the sea. Yemeni Wine Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, good wine, and creative Mediterranean dishes. Levantis in Parikia offers organic, modern Greek food in a garden. Saso is great for casual meals with views, serving grilled meats and local dishes, perfect for families. Katerina’s in Naoussa is a good spot for desserts and coffee near the old port. These places highlight Paros’s family-friendly food scene.
