Best Restaurants in Paros, Greece (2026) — Where to Eat in Naoussa & Beyond
Paros has better food than most people expect from a Greek island. The combination of excellent local seafood, indigenous wines, and a restaurant scene that ranges from harbor tavernas to genuinely ambitious cooking makes it one of the best eating destinations in the Cyclades. We’ve eaten our way around the island — here’s where we actually go back to.
The guide is split by area, since where you’re eating often depends on where you’re staying. Most of the best restaurants cluster around Naoussa in the north, with a handful of strong options along the beaches and in Parikia.

Naoussa
Naoussa is the food center of Paros. The harbor fills up every evening with people doing exactly what you should be doing: eating well and drinking local wine until late.
Siparos — Our favorite meal on Paros, and not particularly close. Located just outside Naoussa, Siparos does elevated Greek cooking with Aegean views from an open-air terrace. Come for a long dinner and stay for the sunset. Book ahead — this one fills up fast in July and August. Reserve here.
Yemini — A family-run spot on one of Naoussa’s best streets, with a Greek wine list that takes the local producers seriously. Reliable and warm, good for a first dinner on the island when you want something classic done well. Book early in summer. See menu.
Barbarossa — The harborfront setting is the main event here. The food is solid rather than exceptional, but the location — right on the water with boats drifting past — is one of the best tables in Naoussa for a stylish night out. Go for the atmosphere, order the lobster pasta. More info.
Stilvi — A courtyard restaurant with a more intimate, romantic feel than most of Naoussa. Modern Mediterranean cooking with local seafood. Better for couples than families. See more.
Open Garden — Casual, beautiful setting, excellent grilled food. The kind of place you stumble on and end up returning to twice. Reserve here.
Soso — Tiny, no-frills, completely worth it. Fresh, simple, downhome flavors. No reservations, get there early.
Kapari — Modern Greek cooking with more creative plating than the typical Naoussa restaurant. Good option if you want something a bit different from the standard taverna format. More info.
Marmitta — Hearty portions, slow-cooked meats, the kind of place for a big group dinner. Less refined than Siparos or Stilvi but satisfying and unpretentious. See on Facebook.
Sigi Ikthios — Good meze and grilled fish right on the Naoussa waterfront. Solid for lunch with prime people-watching. More info.
Taverna Glafkos — A beachfront classic. Come for simple grilled fish and the setting rather than anything elaborate. See on Facebook.
Mario — Run by a well-known chef and consistently cited as one of Paros’s best. Worth booking for a special dinner. Reserve here.
Beachside
Maremma — Above Kolymbithres beach, Maremma does handmade pasta and Italian cooking that holds up well even by Italian standards. Burrata, truffle dishes, a view. Good choice when you want a break from Greek food. Reserve here.
Meltemi — The classic beachside taverna experience. Calamari, grilled fish, Greek salad, cold wine. Nothing complicated, nothing bad. See on Facebook.
Souvlaki
This matters more than people think. The souvlaki situation on Paros is genuinely good.
Kargas — The lines are real. Come early or expect to wait, and take it to go and eat on the beach. Worth it.
Pita Frank — Consistently good, less of a wait than Kargas. House-made sauces.
Wineries
Paros produces its own wines from indigenous grapes — Monemvasia for whites, Mandilaria for reds — and they’re worth seeking out.
Moraitis Winery — The island’s most established producer, with a sunlit patio that’s ideal for a slow afternoon tasting. The whites and rosés are the highlights.
Asteras Winery — A smaller, boutique operation. Limited-edition bottles you won’t find off the island.
