Where to Stay in Antiparos (2026): Hotels & Villas

Antiparos has to be one of the most charming islands in all of Greece. It’s so low-key but impossibly chic. Theres a cute main street with tons of great shopping and delicious restaurants. Read our full Antiparos guide here. The island is small, which makes choosing where to stay more important than it looks. You’re either in walking distance to everything or you’re fully committed to villa life.

Here’s how to decide.

First: Where Should You Base Yourself?

Antiparos Town (Chora) is where most people should stay. You can walk to dinner, wander the harbor at night, grab morning coffee in sandals, and let older kids roam safely. It feels like Paros twenty years ago.

Outside of town is for private villas — cliffside, sea-view, wind-swept, cinematic. You’ll need a car. But you’ll also have privacy, pools, and sunset dinners that feel pulled from a Slim Aarons frame.

If you’re going for energy and convenience, stay in town.

If you’re going for space and privacy, go villa.

Now, the properties worth your time.

The Best Boutique Hotels in Antiparos

The Rooster

If you want barefoot luxury without flash, this is it.

The Rooster sits slightly outside the main town and feels intentionally secluded. Earthy tones, private pools, wellness programming, and a slow, intentional pace define the experience. It attracts couples, design-minded travelers, and anyone who wants their Greek island trip to feel restorative rather than social.

It’s not the place for nightlife. It’s the place for sunrise swims and long dinners under soft lighting.

Best for: couples, honeymooners, adults who want quiet luxury.

Artemis Hotel Antiparos

Right in town, overlooking the harbor, Artemis is simple but perfectly positioned. It’s not trying to be a design hotel — and that’s the charm. You wake up, step outside, and you’re already in the center of everything.

This is a strong choice if you want walkability and plan to spend most of your time at the beach or on a boat rather than at the hotel.

Best for: couples or small families who want location over flash.

Marinatou Suites

A longtime favorite, Marinatou is understated and friendly. It gives you balcony views over the port and easy access to restaurants without luxury pricing.

It works particularly well for families who want something unfussy and central.

Best for: relaxed travelers who prioritize access and value.

The Villa Route (The Real Antiparos Experience)

If you’ve seen Antiparos on Instagram, chances are you were looking at a villa.

This is where the island shines. Think white cubic architecture, infinity pools, shaded pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and views straight across to Paros. Many villas come staffed or can easily arrange private chefs and boat days.

The areas just outside town and toward Soros Beach offer the best mix of privacy and access.

For families or friend groups, a villa often makes more sense than booking multiple hotel rooms. You get space, kitchens, and the ability to live slowly — morning swims, long lunches, late sunsets.

If you’re traveling with kids (especially younger ones), the villa setup is often easier than boutique hotels, which tend to skew adult.

If You’re Choosing Between Paros and Antiparos

Stay in Paros if you want variety, beach clubs, and more dining options.

Stay in Antiparos if you want intimacy, ease, and a quieter social scene.

A popular strategy — and what we did — is splitting your time. Start in Paros for energy, then move to Antiparos for decompression.

Final Take

You won’t find mega resorts or endless hotel lists here. You’ll find small properties, well-designed villas, and an island that feels like a secret — even though it’s not.

If you want walkable charm, stay in town.

If you want cinematic privacy, book a villa.

Either way, Antiparos is the kind of place people return to — quietly — every summer.
